  • Scientists From Cambridge University.

    Published 13/12/23

Today Year 6 had a visit from some female scientists currently working at Cambridge University. They ran a Physics workshop with the children where they were challenged to try and power calculators and buzzers using only coins, cardboard and foil as the cell. The children also used voltage metres to measure the power of their cell. This all consolidated the learning they have been doing on Electricity this half term.
It was great to see Year 6 ending the session by asking the visitors some wonderful questions about their current research projects.
